Client Service Agreement
This Client Service Agreement outlines the general terms for estate memberships, property access, service coordination, and ongoing care provided by Salt & Stone Estate Care.
1. Scope of Services
Services may include estate inspections, photo reporting, handyman services, vendor coordination, concierge tasks, arrival preparation, departure close-down, storm preparation, and emergency response depending on the selected plan or written service request.
2. Services Outside Membership Plan
Services outside the selected membership plan may incur additional charges for labor, materials, third-party vendors, travel, after-hours response, specialty equipment, or project management.
3. Billing and Auto-Renewal
Membership plans renew automatically on a month-to-month basis unless cancelled in writing with at least 15 days notice. Client agrees to maintain a valid payment method for recurring service fees and approved additional charges.
4. Property Access Authorization
Client authorizes Salt & Stone Estate Care to access the property for scheduled inspections, emergency response, vendor access, requested services, and membership-related care. Access may be provided by key, lockbox, gate code, smart lock credentials, or other agreed method.
5. Emergency Authorization
Client authorizes Salt & Stone Estate Care to take reasonable emergency mitigation actions to protect the property when immediate communication with the client is not possible. This may include contacting emergency vendors, shutting off water when accessible, documenting damage, or taking steps intended to reduce further loss.
6. Vendor Coordination
Salt & Stone may coordinate access and scheduling for third-party vendors when requested. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, third-party vendors remain independent providers and are responsible for their own licensing, insurance, workmanship, warranties, and pricing.
7. Storm and Hurricane Limitations
Storm preparation and post-storm response are subject to weather, evacuation orders, road access, safety conditions, vendor availability, and local restrictions. Salt & Stone will not enter unsafe conditions or violate emergency directives.
8. Client Responsibilities
Client agrees to provide accurate contact information, access details, alarm instructions, gate codes, HOA requirements, and any known property conditions that may affect service or safety.
9. Workmanship Warranty
Handyman workmanship may be covered by a 30-day limited workmanship warranty unless otherwise stated. Manufacturer warranties and third-party warranties pass through according to their own terms.
10. Limitation of Liability
Salt & Stone Estate Care is not liable for pre-existing conditions, hidden defects, severe weather, acts of God, third-party vendor performance, utility interruptions, owner-provided instructions, or indirect and consequential damages to the fullest extent allowed by law.
11. Cancellation
Memberships may be cancelled with written notice as stated above. Project cancellations, deposits, and special-order materials may be subject to additional terms agreed in writing.
